Subject: TL-922 Relay switching I have had some problem with my TL-922 PA and getting the TX-relay to work properly together with the 940S. After a while it took quite a while to load the PA to it's full TX power, I could see this by the meter being very slow before reaching the top. I checked and cleaned the relays in the PA, still the same problem with slow load. I also spoke with our Kenwood dealer here in Sweden and they didn't know the symtom. The TL-922 has 115 volts out on the relay cable, this is switched between TX/RX at the 940S and it's "remote" socket. The problem (as always:-) was very easy. It semce the Kenwood folks in Japan has chooesen pin 4 & 2 being the one's to handle the switching. By some means this doesnt work good at my setup. So I simply resolder pin 2 (the shield) to real ground (case of the remote socket), and now it's loading fast without problems. So all of you that see's the PA loading slow, change this and hopefully it will work better. Best wishes: Peter / SM3HUA @ SM3HUA
