1)  Press "144" key.
2)  Press FUNCT and 6 (Step)
3)  Rotate channel selector kob CW from 10 (or 5) to 12.5KHZ
4)  Press PTT (Display should show 146.00)
5)  Press FUNCT and 8 (Rpt)
6)  Press FUNCT and 8 (Rpt) (Displays T and + marks)
7)  Press FUNCT and 7 (T.Sq)
8)  Press FUNCT and 7 (T.SQ)
9)  Press FUNCT and C (MS.M) (Displays ' and + marks)
10) Turn rotory channel selector knob CCW to 145.9875 from 146.00
11) Press FUNCT and 0 (Set)
12) Press FUNCT and D (Ent)
13) Press PTT switch
14) Press FUNCT and 8 (Rpt)
15) Press FUNCT and C (MS.M) to normal step and frequency
16) Press the PTT switch

When properly completed, this will extend the TX coverage to 124-176MHZ
and 400-474MHZ.  There is no TX capability on the 300, 400, 800, and
900MHZ bands.
