     All the tools you need
     are a small phillips screwdriverand wire cutters.

           *******Heres the mod.*******

          Remove the top cover.
          Locate a green wire (next to the battery)
          Cut the green wire(put electrical tape over the cut ends)
          Replace the cover.
          Hold the D/MR button + REV/SKIP button and press power button.
          This resets the memory.
          Radio is now ready to use.
    
     Once mod is done all radio functions will work the same as without
     the mod. As well as extend the  transmit and recive freqs.
