The Drake RV-5 Remote VFO was designed as an accessory for  the Drake TR-5 Transceiver.   This VFO never actually went into production and was replaced by the RV-75 Remote VFO which was compatible with either the TR-5 or TR-7 Transceivers.   Pictured below is the only prototype of that VFO ever built.
